We collect the minimum data needed to run LeadSignal:
Email address — to create your account and send you lead digests.
Niche descriptions and keywords — to search X and Reddit for relevant leads.
Slack webhook URL (optional) — to deliver leads to your Slack channel.
Delivery preferences — your chosen digest time and delivery method.
Session data — a session cookie to keep you logged in.
Payment information — handled entirely by Dodo Payments (our payment processor). We never see or store your card details.
2. What we don't collect
We don't use analytics trackers, Google Analytics, or advertising pixels.
We don't sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
We don't store passwords — authentication is via magic link (email-based login).
3. How we use your data
To find leads — your keywords are used to search X and Reddit for public posts.
To score intent — matching posts are sent to an AI model to determine buying intent.
To deliver leads — scored leads are emailed to you and/or sent to your Slack webhook.
To manage your account — billing, subscription status, and support.

5. Public data from X and Reddit
The leads we deliver contain publicly available data from X and Reddit, including post text, author usernames, bios, and follower/upvote counts. This data is accessed via each platform's official API in accordance with their terms of service. We do not access private or protected accounts.
6. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. It expires after 30 days. We don't use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookies.
7. Data retention
Account data — kept while your account is active. Deleted upon request.
Leads — stored for the duration of your subscription. After account deletion, leads are permanently removed.
Search cache — temporary API results are cached for 12 hours, then automatically purged.
8. Your rights
You can:
Export your data — email us and we'll send you a copy of your account data and leads.
Delete your account — email us and we'll permanently delete your account, niches, and leads.
Update your information — change your delivery preferences, keywords, and Slack webhook anytime from your Settings page.
9. Security
We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, WAL-mode SQLite for data integrity, and deploy on Railway with encrypted persistent volumes. Access to production systems is restricted. We don't store passwords — all authentication is via one-time magic links sent to your email.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we'll notify you by email before the changes take effect. Minor clarifications may be made without notice.
